Introduction

Hello There,

I got an introduction to Myers-Briggs Personality in 2009 - and have been quite interested in it since then.

I first typed as an ENFP - and that resonated with me for quite a few years. Then a little after my mid-twenties, I slowly started evolving into an INFP. Though I mostly identify with an INFP, there are times where I still resonate with my ENFP traits.

Fairly recently - probably within the last year or so - I've slowly been evolving into yet another type; but at this stage - I'm still in a learning stage with some of these new functions that I've started using occasionally. So, all-in-all - I still identify as an INFP.

If you didn't understand a word that I just said - essentially, there have been stages of my life where I've had to develop certain aspects of myself, and grow and evolve as a person. In my earlier twenties, I could afford to have a more relaxed and fun loving personality, but the last past few years I've had to become more focused, and have done a lot of silent observing. I've become more solid in things I believe in and stand for. I've also become a lot bolder - but I'm still exploring and learning about life in general.

The extrovert in me has slowly been surfacing again over the past year or so - but so has the 'Judging' [Function] that has been cropping up to give me a little bit more order in my life - this is a function that is surfacing for the first time, and I'm learning to give it the freedom and expression that it needs.

So if you're interested in the Myers-Briggs Personality - stick around, but even if you're not; and you want to learn more about it, I'll be posting my little going-ons in my INFP world, as well as occasionally reflecting on my past ENFP ventures. I'll also be discussing some viewpoints, and how they are interpreted through my INFP eyes.

Enjoy,
Carmen.
